Mrs. Lizzie Hopkins, who has been making her home with J. B. Vaughn for the last ten years, died of consumption last Sunday night at 9 o’clock. The funeral was conducted by Rev. McDaniel on Tuesday at the M. E. Church, the remains being interred at Alamo Cemetery. She leaves two daughters and many friends to mourn her loss. - kbz
